What We Need

The Senior Energy Advisor reports to the Inside Sales Manager and will be responsible for walking qualified leads through our proven process to closed deals. The Senior Energy Advisor knows the ins-and-outs of the solar industry. Their primary goal will be to close contracts over the phone and via email. This is an in-office position. This position is extremely transparent and educational – no hard selling is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Guide customers through the entire sales process
  • Run analysis on solar bids and advice customers accordingly
  • Process contracts and maintain relationship to grow referral base
  • Learn our CRM and backend portal functions
  • Become a solar expert and continue to improve your knowledge base
  • Follow workflow process with extreme detail
  • Assist in improving processes and user experience

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree
  • 3 years work experience
  • Positive and energetic phone skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • A roll up your sleeves and get dirty – doer
  • An “Inbox Zero” mentality
  • Strong organization skills and extraordinary attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with database management or CRM workflow

Corporate – Los Angeles, CA

What We Need

The Commercial Projects Developer reports to the Head of Business Development to expand Pick My Solar’s commercial service offering across the country. The position works alongside the business development team and sales team to develop new commercial project prospects, assist in commercial project strategy and implementation, identify project scope and requirements, and define the overall client experience. The Commercial Projects Developer is an expert in identifying new opportunities like solar rebates and incentives, industry trends, and utility pricing.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Expand Pick My Solar’s network of commercial clients
  • Guide commercial clients through entire sales process
  • Follow workflow process with extreme detail

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience in C&I solar sales
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, or related
  • Minimum 2 years experience with MS Office, CRM systems, project management tools
  • In-depth knowledge of solar PV technology and economics
  • Ability to commit ~40+ hours per week
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years experience in C&I solar
  • MBA or Master’s in Finance, Project Management, or related

What We Need

We need a Marketing Intern to assist our Marketing Department develop various marketing channels and strategies. This will include the meticulous production of web pages, blogs, emails, social media posts, brochures, and more for campaigns across the United States. As a marketing intern, you’ll work alongside our Head of Marketing to help achieve our mission of empowering consumers to adopt sustainable technology through transparency and choice. This is a unique opportunity to get direct, hands-on experience in a disruptive cleantech enterprise. You will be well prepared to become an expert on solar energy, industry trends, and marketing strategy. You will meet cleantech innovators, investors, and more.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Fearless, professional attitude towards business and a willingness to learn
  • Creative and inquisitive nature and passion to apply something new everyday
  • Marketing, Communications, Environmental Science, Business, Economics, Finance majors preferred
  • Minimum 1 year experience with digital outreach required

What We Need

Pick My Solar is in need of a business development intern to help expand Pick My Solar’s service offering to new markets and launch new channel partnerships with municipalities, employers, non-profits, for-profits, and more. As a business development intern, you’ll work alongside our sales operations team as well as the co-founders of Pick My Solar on our ability to expand through new growth initiatives. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Head of Business Development in forming and executing new strategic initiatives across the business. You will become an expert on solar economics, industry trends, and utility pricing. You will meet solar industry leaders, investors, and more during your time at Pick My Solar.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Fearless attitude towards technology and a willingness to learn
  • Creative and inquisitive nature and passion to learn and apply something new every day
  • Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Finance or Technology majors preferred
  • Experience working in a B2B company or sales team is preferred but not required
  • Any sales experience is of interest, particularly proven experience and/or comfort with cold calling
  • Experience w/ MS Office, Google Docs and email communication for business
  • Ability to commit 40 hours per week
